Why Killer Guitar Academy exists
Killer Guitar Academy grew out of KillerGuitarRigs.com, where we've spent years writing about gear, technique, and the players who shaped this instrument. Along the way we kept hearing the same thing from adult players: there's no shortage of free guitar lessons. There's a shortage of order. You can find fifty videos on any lick you want, but nobody tells you what to learn next, or why, or when you're done.
So we started building courses that do exactly that. One skill per course. A clear path from the first lesson to the last. No filler, no "smash that subscribe button," no guessing what comes next.
Who's teaching
Our instructors aren't content-farm presenters. Nick Scout spent years as a touring guitar tech before opening his own repair bench, and he teaches our guitar setup course the way he'd train an apprentice. Danny Carpenter handles theory and fretboard work — the stuff most players avoid for decades — and makes it usable in a fraction of the time you'd expect. And our artist masterclasses break down exactly how players like Gilmour, Hendrix, Page, and Slash actually built their sound, not just which pedals they owned.
